The keyboard cover looks like a completely trivial accessory at first glance, consisting of several buttons, compression pads and electronics. The iFixit Magic website has passed the iPad Pro 2020 keyboard under the X-rays and published images of them, which can be seen to understand that the inside of this accessory has many complexities, contrary to popular belief.
iFixit says the X-Ray's images make the new iPad Pro's keyboard look more than just an accessory, and you can't tell if it's worth it without looking at the $ 330 price tag. iFixit says that they have dissected other Magic keyboards in the past and are familiar with the intricacies of this product, but have rarely encountered this volume of parts in this device.
One of the most interesting parts of the Magic Keyboard is the trackpad. According to the site, the design of the trackpad has been changed to a new keyboard and differs from the MacBook pads that do not have a physical button and simulate clicks using touch feedback.
As you can see in the image below, there appear to be several separate physical buttons under the Magic Keyboard trackpad that absorb the user's finger pressures:
According to iFixit, the inside of the new Magic Keyboard is so sophisticated that it looks more sophisticated than many laptops. Another interesting part of this device is the use of two springs in the hinges.
Apple has once again used a large number of magnets in its keyboard cover to make the user feel strong and stable. As you can see in the image below, there are several small magnets around the camera hole:
iFixit says that Magic will soon dissect the new keyboard to reveal more secrets.
