The process of replacing all-electric models with gasoline and hybrid vehicles is going faster than expected. Many of the world’s automakers are considering ending the 2020s to stop production of combustion engines, and lawmakers in developed countries are likely to ban new gasoline-powered models from 2030.
As one of the most popular and profitable carmakers in the world, Mercedes-Benz will offer an all-electric version for all its products from 2025. By 2023, the brand will unveil 6 new electric models to have a total of 9 all-electric products. According to the new Mercedes-Benz plan, the company will become an all-electric brand from 2030 and will not have any products with petrol, diesel and hybrid engines.
