Spanish Xabi Alonso has almost agreed to join Manchester City.
According to the Daily Mail, after the separation of current Arsenal manager Michael Artta from Manchester City's staff, Pep Guardiola has been looking for a replacement for him and it seems that he has been able to find a replacement for his coach.
The Spanish Alonso worked with Pep Guardiola in Bayern Munich and won the Bundesliga. He is currently leading Real Sociedad B, which is in the third division of Spain. He traveled to Manchester last year to visit the Manchester City Academy and talk to Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola plans to introduce Alonso as his first assistant for the new season of the English Premier League.
